Makeover shows are some of the trickiest projects to pull off but some of the most satisfying to get right, balancing the schedule of a build with that of a production, being able to identify developing stories on the fly, and shooting great visuals in often challenging conditions.

My credits in this area include big formats such as DIY SOS: The Big Build (BBC One) and Love Your Garden (ITV), as well as projects from each end of the timescale, from a day with The Instant Gardener (BBC One), to months or years on The House That £100k Built (BBC Two).
